List Of Deceased Church Leaders Who Where Known To Be DP Ruto’s Close Friends 

The deputy president Dr William Ruto is known for his closeness with the church leaders. He is one of the leaders who associates himself with the church at all times through attending church services, contributions of funds to churches and even reading and singing in the church. Ruto has made numberless friend from different churches including Bishops, pastors among many others.

Bishop Godfrey Migwi

Bishop Godfrey was the founder of the House of Hope Church in Kayole. He died December 2nd 2021 after he suffered from a short illness. He was a close friend to DP Ruto and Ruto mourned the controversial bishop when he died.

Priest Shamalla died on 27th October this year at the age of 84 years at his home Malava in Kakamega county. Shamalla was the high priest of the African church of the holy spirit. He was also a very close friend to DP Ruto till his met his death.

Bishop Simon Wanjohi

Bishop Wanjohi of Nyandarua region PEFA churches died in March this year. He was also the chairman of Nyandarua pastors fellowship before he deceased. He was another close friend to DP Ruto.

Bishop Mercy Wairimu Mwangi

She was the founder of Embracing Evangelistic Church in Thika. Besides being a bishop, she was a also a singer. She died on 16th March 2021. She succumbed to covid-19 three days after she was hospitalised. She was also a close friend to DP Ruto.

Bishop Silus Njiru

He was a Kenyan Roman Catholic church bishop and he was ordained to priesthood. He succumbed to covid-19 back in April 2020.

Bishop Stephen Ng’ang’a Kamau

He was the African Independent Pentecostal churches of Africa Bishop. He died back on 5th November 2020. He was a close friend to DP Ruto and before he died.
