Two people are being held in police custody after posing as anti-corruption officials and claiming to be investigating a land fraud case.

According to DCI, the two males, named as Gordwins Agutu and David Mburu, broke into the offices of one Isaac Wandere with two top-of-the-line automobiles equipped with strobe lights and well-built men hanging precariously on the vehicle door, producing a spectacular scene. The two allegedly demanded a bribe to put a hold on a land fraud prosecution against him [Isaac Wandere].

Gordwins Agutu has been detained before for being linked to fraud, according to DCI. He was also arrested in September 2017 for impersonating a senior superintendent of police with the criminal investigation department, according to reports.
Detectives were able to recover two other job cards during his detention, both of which indicated that he held high management positions at the Kenya Revenue Authority and the Kenya Pharmacy and Poison Board.
