Mr Katta, through his Facebook page accounts, reminded his admirers about proper phone etiquette when calling him, especially for those who had waited a long time to contact him.
According to him, it is quite inappropriate for someone to phone you and not introduce themselves, and when you ask who they are, instead of responding appropriately, they question if you can’t remember who they are (‘haunikumbuki’) or if you have already deleted their number.
”Proper phone etiquette dictates that if you call my phone and it has been a while since we talked over the phone, it’s prudent to introduce yourself rather than wait until I enquire who the caller is,it costs you nothing. It bothers me when i enquire to know who the caller is and they start saying..”so you deleted my number”.or “hujui hiyo sauti ni ya nani” or “hunikumbuki”, Katta said.

Actually I agree with him completely, and now you know what to do when you call somebody after long time.
