Police Arrest The Husband Of Juja Waitress Who Was Murdered And Her Body Dumped Outside GSU Gate

The DCI have arrested the husband to the waitress Esther Wambui who was murdered and her body left outside GSU Reece Squad gate in Limbo area Ruiru sub county.

Simon Ngugi as identified is treated as the prime suspect of his wife Esther Wambui. The husband was arrested after the police obtained a mobile phone conversation between him and his deceased wife as confirmed by Ruiru director of criminal investigation officer Justus Ombati.

The deceased was attacked by unknown people as she was heading to her place of work morning of 17th January. On the very same morning, her husband had escorted her to a junction which is about a kilometer to her place of work.

The police question why Simon Ngige failed to report that his wife did not come back home after work that day. He did not inform anybody about Hus wife not returning home hence the police treats him like a prime suspect of her murder.

“Shockingly, Ngige never reported Wambui’s disappearance to the police or informed her colleagues at work despite his wife failing to return home in the evening,” Ombati said.
