According to Henry Oduor, the area assistant chief, the two identified as Enoch Omolo and Dorothy Omanya had frequent conflicts over the lack of children.
He went on to say that on the fateful day, he received a call from the deceased neighbor telling him that the two were having a terrible disagreement and that he could hear the lady begging for aid before everything fell silent.
Oduor claimed that he went to Enoch’s residence and discovered the door locked from the inside, with no one to unlock it, so he pushed it open.Unfortunately, he discovered Dorothy’s lifeless body on the bed with a suicide note next to it, and Enoch’s body hanging from the roof.
He informed the responding officers, who have begun an investigation into the situation.
The dead were sent to the ukwala sub-county hospital.
