Presidential candidate businessman and ODM long term member hon Jimi Wanjigi is facing tough times after the ATPU commandos broke into his house to arrest them. This comes after Wanjigi received an order from the court which restrained the police officers from arresting him and his wife.
The commandos were seen breaking to Wanjigi’s building at Jimi Wanjigi’s Kwacha Group of Companies in Nairobi. It has not yet established what the officers were exactly looking for.
The police officers have been camping at Wanjigi’s business office in Westlands since Monday night trying to arrest him. Later on Tuesday, the court issued a warrant of arrest of the business man, his wife and six more others. All of them were to appear in court to face 56 million land fraud case
However, this warrant of arrest was later reversed after a High Court in Nairobi issued an order stopping the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) from arresting Wanjihgi together with his wife.
