George Natembeya is well known for his toughness as the rift valley regional commissioner. His resignation is due to his interest in active politics as he will be aiming to the next governor of Trans Nzoia county come 2022.
Natembeya announced his resignation this morning as he was speaking with the Nation. While speaking to the Nation, he said that his political rivals have been asking him to remove the uniform and face them and now he shall teach them about leadership come 2022.
The though security boss has been in the public service for 25 years now since he became a district officer. According to the report from the Nation, there are 20 more government officials who are expected to resign.
George Natembeya has great influence and he is ready to battle with other politicians who will be aiming the gubernatorial seat in 2022.
